Paper Dresses
One of the calls for artwork for Somerset Life is creating something out of waxed paper. I pulled a roll from my kitchen cupboard and put it on my table. After a few days of thinking I pulled out my big box of ephemera and came up with these sweet little dresses. The one above is my favorite.
I can tell you for sure that I never would have thought to use wax paper for anything but I'm so happy with the way they came out. The wax paper went through my sewing machine like a breeze too.
I'm also crazy about the little capsules by Tim Holtz recently. I've had them since they came out but I used them for this project for the first time.
Which one is your favorite?

The dresses are adorable! I don't think I've ever seen brown wax paper...where do you buy it?
Hi Maryl!
My friend Laura gave me some brown wax paper sandwich bags from Whole Foods. What I didn't say in my post is that I started with the regular white/sheer paper on a roll but immediately thought of the brown bags and opted for those instead.
They are darling Lisa! I like them all, but the first one is my favorite. Big Hugs!
Those are really adorable and sweet! I like the little blue one best. :-) How are you planning to use them?
OH my these are so sweet. I too love the first one but they are all so cute.
I like the first one too!
I think they're all great and now you've inspired me to submit something too for this challenge! I'm sure it won't be as great as yours - but I'm going to go for it.
I love the one with the little frame best but they are all adorable!
Those are very cute, I can see them in many different uses! Can't wait to meet you at Silver Bella!
Well Lisa, they are all my favorites. What a cute bunch of dresses! I hope to see them in an issue!
Hugs,
Meri

They are all darling! Maybe a cute little clothes-line with altered clothespins for display??? Too sweet! Beth
