Mingle Magazine Give-A-Way Weekend!

Hello and happy Friday!  I just received a copy of Mingle Magazine, courtesy of Stampington, to give a way on my blog.  Reading through my copy inspired me to plan a bunch of fall get togethers with my first being a much needed game night with friends.  It's been WAY too long!

Please leave a comment describing your go-to party dish that you either make or take.  You know, the one everybody loves!  I will pick a winner on Monday and send the magazine right out.  I leave you with these gorgeous previews...

Very cool giveaway Lisa so I have to say the item that I am asked to bring to any party is my turtle pecan cheesecake......my cousin when we have family parties requests her own so she can enjoy and take home any leftovers all to herself! Hope to see you soon!

Fun giveaway! We have a fig tree that gives fruit most of the Summer and into the Fall. An appetizer we like to serve is similar to the following:

Very Yummy.

oooh, I haven't seen this on the newstands yet but it looks like fun! I do have the new Life magazine and I love all of your contributions Lisa. The one thing I take to parties that disappears is Jezabel Sauce. It's made with Apricot preserves, apple jelly, horseradish and mustard and you serve it over cream cheese with crackers. An unusual combination but one that everyone loves. Thanks for the chance to win.

I think pot luck pitch-ins are the best- I usually bring Greek Pasta Salad- red & green peppers, feta, & Kalamata olives. If I don't have time to cook, I head to Costco's to pick up some Cilantro Lime Shrimp.

I saw this magazine yesterday at the bookstore - so many great ideas in it! My take-along food at this time of year is cornbread muffins and/or chili.

Love your blog!
My offering at pot-lucks during the summer is either a caprese salad or guacamole and never have any left to bring home! If pressed for time, I've been known to tote along a bottle of vino -not terribly original, yet somehow always a hit!

Fall and winter it's always something baked - if it has sugar and butter and is baked In the oven, seems everyone likes whatever it is!

My new favorite go to recipe is my macadamia nut puff rice squares, always a big hit - reminds me of my favorite place - Hawaii! Always exciting to have a new magazine from which to get inspiration from.

I can't wait to see this magazine!
My go-to dish is a layered spread-- goat cheese layered with sun dried tomatoes and olives with oil and balsamic drizzles on top..... Great to dip or spread... Yum....

Oh - I'd love to have that magazine! I can't find it in any of my stores around here.
For dishes: If it is a football party my go to dish is a layered mexican dip that is served warm with melted cheese. If it is a girls party I always bring my seven layer cookie bars.

The best one I like to make for parties and even carry to friends place is a sweet cake made from biscuits using butter.

Hi Lisa ~ Thanks for the opportunity to win this fabulous magazine! The one (and probably the only) dish I am ever requested to bring is lumpia (Filipino egg rolls). The kids usually love it!

Um since I am not much of a cooker. I would have to say my Jello mixx. Take 2 Boxes of Vanilla sugar free Jello and throw in some Blueberries, rasberry, and slice up some strawberrys. and
BAM! Instant winner in more ways than one

my go to dish to take to partys would have to be either my Key Lime pie, i jazz it up with a box of cream cheese, or my mac and cheese, with sharp cheddar, monterey jack, and colby. Sometimes i make it grown up by adding some bleu cheese.

So, I'm not going to brag, but I'm known world wide for my deviled eggs. The joy that overcomes my friends and family when I walk in with my lil' dev's is quite something...just sayin'

The best dish that people feel most welcome and comforted by is soup and custom order paninis. The fun thing with paninis you can make them in all sizes, so you can taste savory options and some sweet ones too. YUMMY!! Plus they make great leftovers too.
